Happy Client, Onehunga – 1920 Villa Bathroom Rebuild

When the tiler came this morning, he said ‘Gib looks good, builder did a good job.’ So big ups to you Aaron for your great work.

Tenari and Ruta is 1970s Timber weatherboard home bathroom rebuild.

We first met Aaron when we needed someone we could trust to renovate the bathroom in our very first home. What started as a single project quickly turned into much more. He handled everything with professionalism, care. His knowledge was second to none especially when it came to hard/difficult decisions

Aaron's workmanship is second to none. He’s reliable, thorough, and truly passionate about what he does. His attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and clear communication throughout every stage of the build made all the difference. He takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about delivering results that exceed expectations — and that’s exactly what he did for us.

Now, as we prepare to undertake a major renovation in our current home in Sandringham, there is no question who we’d call first. Aaron is not just our builder — he’s become a trusted partner in shaping the spaces that matter most to our family.

If you're looking for a builder who’s skilled, honest, hardworking, and committed to delivering excellence, we couldn’t recommend Aaron most highly.

Nga mihi, Shaun of Papatoetoe (Papatoetoe 1960s Timber weatherboard home)

Kia ora Team If you're looking for a trusted qualified builder with high quality work. I highly recommend the services of Aaron Kingi of AK Building Solutions. Done a superb job on my new bathroom and fence. Gave good straight forward advice on what would work and wouldn't work, when it came to the design of the bathroom. Which help alot in keeping the cost within my budget. Also gave me peace of mind knowing he is LBP certified. With references and +20 years of experience behind him. Will also be getting him back to build my rear outdoor deck, pergola and outdoor entertainment area for the Whanau.

Tom (Manurewa 1980s Fibre cement weatherboard home. Full reno. New kitchen and bathroom.)

I highly recommend Aaron and the team, they're reliable, trustworthy, communicate well and transparent right from day one. They have high quality work and very professional, they're my natural go to now.

Wayne Osborne

Ak building solutions was referred to me when I needed to renovate my whole house. I was living with my sister at the time, 2.5 hours away, recovering from illness. It was the perfect time to complete the renovations, but I thought it would be tricky as I was not able to be on site. However Aaron made communication very easy. He was very friendly, and approachable, and he consistently brought upcoming tasks to my attention one step ahead of schedule allowing me sufficient time to make any decisions about the various options he suggested. While Aaron completed all the building/painting projects to a high standard, demonstrating skill and reliability, he also project managed the obtaining and timing of the various Tradespeople that were needed on the job (e.g., scaffolder, roofing specialist, kitchen specialist, plumber, electrician, glazier, tiler, and plasterer). I would recommended all these Tradespeople as their work was completed to a very high quality. Aaron’s workmanship is truly exceptional; the structure of my house is much more solid and the finishing is immaculate. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and would recommend him to anyone wanting to build or renovate their home.
